Athletic Performance Coach Job in Atlanta
Midtown is searching for a Sports Performance Coach to work closely with our high performance tennis athletes to achieve their athletic goals.
What you’ll do: Inspire members to transform their lives through education and movement
As a sports performance coach at Midtown, you'll instruct, motivate, and assist our athletes in a safe, legal, and ethical manner to achieve their goals. You'll conduct assessments and ensure proper protocols when evaluating and advising athletes. Update training plans and/or re-evaluate athletes as needed to ensure optimal outcomes. Areas of performance enhancement include overall tennis specific strength and conditioning such as injury prevention, speed, agility, and power. Sports performance coaches are rewarded for engagement and educational development. Full-Time Coaches are offered medical, dental, vision insurance, Vacation/ Sick Time off and 401K opportunities.
Responsibilities:
Work with Program Manager and High Performance Tennis Manager.
Offering personal attention and expertise to our athletes through thoughtful program design.
Maintain a consistent and professional working schedule that meets the needs of our high performance tennis program.
Requirements:
A love of coaching and movement.
Possess our core values: Win Together, Glass Half full Mindset, Be Passionate about helping others, always strive to be better than yesterday and Be Kind.
Participation in Midtown’s proprietary education pathway, upon hire.
Maintain at least one nationally recognized Sports Performance Training certification
