Midtown Bannockburn is expanding our Facilities team. We are looking for Facilities Technicians to join our fast-paced, friendly environment.

The Position
As an integral part of the Facilities team, our technicians ensure a safe and high functioning environment for members, guests, and associates.

Facilities Technician responsibilities:

  • Report directly to the Facility Manager
  • Identify and troubleshoot facility repairs through daily walk throughs
  • Provide regular upkeep and maintenance of all club property, equipment, and assets by utilizing basic craft skills (for example: plumbing, electrical, carpentry), using hand tools, power tools, and other equipment to complete jobs
  • Inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues
  • Complete all required training requirements to safely operate equipment and tools
  • Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls and/or calls for assistance from other departments
  • Maintain knowledge of facilities and follow through on assigned maintenance requests and planned maintenance tasks 
  • Consistently present a pleasant, attentive and courteous attitude toward members, guests and fellow associates
  • Take pride in themselves and their work

Facilities Technician requirements:

  • Possess a minimum of three years of experience in facilities maintenance, this may be combined with technical training or certification
  • Preferred certification or training in one or many of the following: roofing, mechanical equipment, electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems, carpentry, and/or painting
  • Possess functional knowledge of preventative maintenance programs of building systems and equipment
  • Maintain or have an interest in obtaining certified pool operator certification (highly preferred)
  • Experience working with pools, tennis courts and/or fitness equipment a bonus
  • Be comfortable with computers and basic data management, including facility management software
  • Are self-directed requiring little to no supervision once a task is assigned
  • Understand prioritization and a sense of urgency; able to meet deadlines
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to lift 20 lbs frequently and 50 lbs occasionally; ability to climb ladders frequently

Shifts available

Weekdays: 4:30am-1:00pm and 3:00pm to 11:30pm

Weekends: 5:30am-2:00pm and 1:30pm-9:30pm
