Midtown is looking for a friendly and driven Seasonal Bartender to enhance our stellar restaurant experience.
Seasonal Contracts are from May 1 to September 30. We are searching for associates who can work 28-40 hours a week (3-5 shifts) and MUST be available weekends and holidays.
What You’ll Do
Our Bartenders create positive lasting impressions by providing enthusiastic greetings, warm assistance, and genuine farewells. Whether making a member laugh while serving their favorite cocktail or helping a guest navigate their way around the club, they play an important role by exceeding service expectations and providing a sense of belonging.
Role Responsibilities
Welcome members and guests, reading and listening to people to determine beverage preferences, making recommendations, and taking drink orders
Select and mix ingredients, garnish glasses, and serve beverages to members and guests
Check identification to ensure customers are the legal age to purchase alcohol
Take inventory to ensure bar is well-stocked
Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions accurately
Maintain a clean work area

Experience/Skill Requirements:
Must be able to pass a background check screening
Availability to work a flexible schedule especially evenings & weekends
2 years working in a cocktail focused bar program preferred
A passion for food and restaurant operations and a desire to make an impact on bettering people's lives
Guest oriented and service minded
A "win together" work ethic and the ability to lead by example
Ability to adapt and succeed in a fast-paced environment
Previous Silverware POS experience an asset
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Exceptional interpersonal and problem solving abilities
Highly responsible & reliable
Able to stand for a 8-10 hour shift
Serv Safe Food Handlers Certificate required
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, talk, and hear. The employee frequently is required to sit, reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance.

The Other Stuff
Our food and beverage team is “on stage”, on time and ready to deliver our best work. We anticipate problems and do our best to take preventative measures for our members. At times, we host member events that include the food & beverage department.
Compensation: $12.62/hr (plus tips), based on experience and qualifications.
