Midtown is looking for a full-time Talent Acquisition Director to drive new and innovative processes to improve and measure how we attract and onboard Rockstar Talent.

The Position
The Talent Acquisition Director reports to the Vice President of People Experience and is the leader of the Talent Acquisition function. This role is responsible for elevating our Talent Brand, driving a best in class candidate and onboarding experience, attracting Rockstar Talent and developing progressive digital processes. This position will be expected to have excellent relationship building, analytical skills and exhibit our core values. The Talent Acquisition Director will also manage a small team and will be responsible for recruiting professional level positions across our clubs and corporate office.

The primary responsibilities are:

  • Build strong relationships with senior leadership teams and all hiring managers to assess hiring needs
  • Develop, streamline and standardize all sourcing, recruiting, interviewing, and selection processes
  • Partner with other members of the People Experience department to drive change management activities and training for all processes
  • Partner with Marketing to ensure our Talent Brand is clearly implemented across all internal and external channels
  • Develop a regular communication cadence with all senior leadership teams and deliver agreed upon KPIs, Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and reporting
  • Develop and manage the Talent Acquisition budget
  • Develop, assess and drive innovative digital processes and vendor partnerships
  • Create candidate and associate onboarding experiences that build on our Talent Brand, encompasses a high level of engagement and simplifies processes and paperwork as much as possible
  • Focus on development and results driven performance for all direct reports


Talent Acquisition Director Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of broad recruiting experience required, with at least 5 years managing and leading a recruiting function
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in personnel management, including hiring, supervision, performance management and evaluations
  • Successful completion of Bachelor’s degree from a four-year accredited institution required (PHR,SPHR preferred)
  • Excellent verbal and written skills and ability to communicate with all levels within an organization
  • Strong business acumen and ability to actively listen to others and build rapport
  • Strong track record of process development and implementation and change management
  • Strong track record of recruiting, attracting top talent and assessing fit across an organization
  • Agile and innovative, strategic thinker, ability to balance data and business needs to make the best recommendations and ability to take initiative to drive results
  • Great leader of people with a strong track record of building and leading highly engaged teams
  • Experienced with Application Tracking Systems, HRIS systems and Microsoft Office
  • Sees no task as too big or too small and does whatever it takes to get the job done
  • Up to 50% travel across our 8 clubs and corporate office is required (corporate office and 4 clubs are located in the Chicago-land area, and the others in US and Canada)
