Vice President of Marketing

The Vice President of Marketing will lead our marketing team, our strategies, and our related initiatives. Midtown is searching for a VPM based out of our Corporate Office location in Chicago.

This role reports directly to the President of Midtown, sits on the Executive Team and works closely with the Executive team on owning overall business performance.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with the company's business objectives, focusing on both short-term gains and long-term growth.
  • Brand Management: Elevate the brand identity and ensure consistency across all marketing and communication channels. Develop campaigns that resonate with our target demographic and underscore our position as a premium provider.
  • Market Analysis and Insights: Conduct market research and analysis to understand industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs. Use insights to inform marketing strategies and product development.
  • Digital Marketing: Oversee digital marketing strategies, including SEO/SEM, email marketing, social media, and online advertising to enhance online presence and member engagement.
  • Content Creation: Lead the creation of engaging content that reflects the brand’s values and promotes its services, including promotional materials, website content, and social media posts.
  • Partnership and Sponsorship: Identify and develop strategic partnerships and sponsorships to enhance brand visibility and access new customer segments.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the marketing team to foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and collaboration.
  • Budget Management: Manage the marketing budget effectively, ensuring that resources are allocated optimally to achieve marketing objectives.
  • Performance Metrics: Set, monitor, and report on marketing performance metrics, adjusting strategies as necessary to meet business goals.
  • CRM Management; Drive our CRM performance across sales, marketing, and service.
  • Website and App: Manages the website and app platforms to help achieve business goals.
  • Insights: Develop insights from customer data (not just market data) to help guide strategic and tactical decision making.
  • Member Engagement: deliver on initiatives that focus on increased member engagement and deliver an exceptional experience.
  • Marketing Automations: Develop and continually refine an automation/machine learning platform across the entire customer lifecycle.
