The Assistant Head Coach is a leadership development role that reports into the Head Coach and directly oversees the Coach on Duty program, supports the execution of Launch, the Fitness Floor experience, Fitness equipment maintenance and procurement as well as acting as a support to the Head Coach related to recruiting and onboarding new coaches.
Responsibilities:
Lead the Coach on Duty experience within the club
Create & manage robust COD schedule, ensure member experience is at forefront
Evaluate COD performance and interaction with members to support transition from COD shifts to weekly session goals.
Lead bi-weekly Coach on Duty team meetings
Partner with Head Coach to meet Launch KPIs and Fitness Specialist performance:
Attend launch meetings
Manage Hub Spot Specialist training onboarding and dashboards
Support Head Coach with Launch Specialist audition process
Partner Head Coach to recruit and onboard Fitness Coaches
Identify recruiting needs related to COD business development
Support creation of thorough 60 Day Coach Onboarding for all new hires
Collaborate with Facilities Department to manage the fitness equipment preventative maintenance program
Weekly floor walk through’s to ensure spaces are resort-like and up to brand standard.
Manage inventory of fitness equipment/kit.
Support the fitness member experience by communicating with members in a timely manner
Support Head Coach with monthly variance reporting and budget preparation
Requirements:
Must have a Nationally Accredited Personal Training Certification
Active CPR/AED Certification
4 years Industry experience
