Position Summary

As an integral part of the leadership team, our Director of Adult Tennis inspire members through movement, community, and personal attention. They encourage active, social, and healthier lives by:

  • Engaging more members in more programs and with more coaches
  • Committing to Gain, Train, and Retain world class tennis talent
  • Developing and participating in adult tennis programs and events
  • Overseeing the schedule of courts and coaches to insure maximum participation
  • Supervising adult coaches and providing feedback on their teaching
  • Promoting and maintaining the standards of the adult pathway
  • Directing the TNT and TenniSchools programs
  • Attending appropriate staff and management meetings
  • Assisting the Tennis Director in all matters related to adult programming
  • Teaching adult groups and cardio classes

Our Director of Adult Tennis have three or more years of teaching and programming experience with preferably two years in a managerial capacity. In addition they:

  • Maintain at least one nationally recognized tennis certification
  • Possess an NTRP rating of 4.5 or higher and preferably have collegiate playing experience
  • Are strong leaders with the ability to deliver information clearly, concisely, and timely
  • Possess exceptional administrative abilities
  • Are highly organized, creative, and energetic
  • Enjoy talking about and promoting the game of tennis
