**EXPERIENCE WITH WORKDAY FINANCIALS & ADAPTIVE PLANNING REQUIRED**
Midtown is seeking a Financial Systems and Technology Manager to join our world-class team at our Chicago headquarters.
Midtown has made a significant investment in its financial systems and we are seeking a technical-oriented individual to leverage the power of our new financial systems and technology to drive forward the new financial strategy and roadmap at Midtown. You will work closely with the CFO to effectively utilize the financial tools available to set up the appropriate systems and technological tools that puts the right information in the hands of our operators in a timely manner. This will entail the appropriate structuring of data within Workday, management of custom reporting and dashboards within Workday Adaptive Planning, and leveraging 3rd party applications, including our member management software, to arm our management team and club operators with the appropriate tools to manage their activities most effectively.
Responsibilities and Duties
Configure business processes within our financial systems to optimize effective workflows and system usage
Identify and execute on opportunities for process automation, where possible
Collaborate with Workday and Adaptive Planning engineers, other 3rd party software applications, along with internal Finance and IT resources, to communicate functional requirements to consultants and configure the systems to meet the business objectives
Provide expertise on third-party interface requirements; ensure all third-party applications are pushing data efficiently to Workday (and if they are not, identify how data will be presented)
Design and develop custom integrations across member management software, Adaptive Planning, and other third-party applications as needed
Ensure that we are continually evaluating our systems against the finance org roadmap; propose changes to business processes and adapt technological solutions to business needs, as they arise
Work with Executive Team, Club General Managers, and other cross-functional team members to provide feedback regarding what financial tools could help solve business needs
Bachelors’ Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Information Systems
5 to 10 years’ experience, inclusive of significant Workday Financials and Workday Adaptive Planning experience
Demonstrated ability to utilize software tools (e.g., Workday, Adaptive Planning, member management software) to add value to operators within organizations
Strong communication skills; ability to clearly and concisely work with technology tools and identify technology solutions to solve business needs
Ability to forge relationships cross-functionally to foster open communication and ability to solve data needs proactively utilizing technology
SQL experience a plus
