Midtown Chicago is looking for a Food and Beverage Manager to help operate our multiple outlets, which include Chromium restaurant, hotel banquet facilities, poolside terrace, rooftop lounge, smoothie counter, snack shop and soon to open Grab N Go market. Our ideal candidate has a positive attitude and is knowledgeable, hardworking, dedicated, personable & team oriented. Experience and flexible hours are prerequisites for the available positions.

About Our Club
Our F&B program is centered around Chromium, which is a contemporary American full service restaurant located inside a state of the art Urban Sports Resort, Midtown Athletic Club, headed by Executive Chef Amanda Barnes. The menu changes seasonally using the highest quality, responsibly farmed and sustainably sourced ingredients. To complement the food we have an expansive wine, beer and spirit menu for our 15,000 strong members and their guests. We also provide banquet and event options for our members and hotel guests utilizing our 575,000 sq/ft facility. Within Midtown Athletic, aside from F&B outlets, we offer a pro-shop, children’s activity programs, Indoor and outdoor pools, spa, gym, yoga, tennis courts & a 55 room hotel.
- 6+ years of experience in a managerial role
- Has a passion for service, quality and training
- Experience in high volume food & beverage outlet
- Experience in using office programs such as Excel and PowerPoint
- Flexible work hours – AM & PM availability
- Advanced knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine & beer
- Comprehensive food knowledge
- Experience in ordering & inventory
- Guest focused & poised managerial style
- Hard working & dedicated
- Organized & goal/task oriented
- Outgoing & personable
- Ability to multitask
- Experience in managing a staff of 75+ employees
- Event management and/or hotel experience is a plus
