The Group Program Director is responsible for overseeing the Fitness Programming, and all aspects of the Fitness experience within the club. With the shift in our space towards the studio model and the increased emphasis on brands offering more curated, boutique like experiences, this fitness leader needs to be optimistic in their attitude and approach and relentless in their delivery. Bringing a reliable and curious attitude, this leader will be the ambassador for fitness within their designated club as Midtown strives to stay ahead of the competition. This leader will be nimble and adaptable to the changing landscape of the industry and will thrive in a people environment, bringing an energetic and inspiring leadership style to the fitness programs and delivery by:
Overseeing Fitness Programming, and all aspects of the Fitness experience within the club.
coaching and developing all Instructors to reach their potential
Working in partnership with the National Program Director and Marketing Teams the PD will examine how we improve, launch and communicate our branded and new program formats within the club.
Attending regular classes within the competitive set/boutique studio space to stay current with trends and at the leading edge of industry innovations.
Working within the company guidelines to ensure all Studios are on brand, and align with Midtowns vision of an in-club boutique strategy.
Engaging in recruitment, onboarding and regular evaluation of all Fitness Professionals.
Staying up to date on trends, locally, nationally and internationally. Ensuring Midtown continues to innovate and stay ahead of the competition across all verticals within the fitness space.
Participating in annual department budget preparation and monthly financial and performance reports.
Using club’s reports to track programming and Instructor performance metrics.
As our Group Program Director you’ll oversee all Group Fitness, working alongside a Head Coach, to oversee Fitness & Pilates Coaching
If you possess at least 3 years of leadership experience and maintain Nationally recognized certifications in fitness and specialized group fitness you just might become our next teammate.
