Midtown is looking for a Head Lifeguard to add to our world-class team.

As an integral part of the aquatics and lifeguard team, our Head Lifeguards inspire members through movement, community, and personal attention. They encourage active, social, and healthier lives by:
Demonstrating sound leadership, professionalism, resilience, and optimism
Engaging more members in more programs and with more lifeguards
Developing and maintaining aquatics areas to promote an enjoyable experience
Monitoring lifeguards and ensuring they are following safety protocols
Maintain a safe swimming environment by enforcing all rules and regulations of the pool and surrounding area.
Recognize and respond effectively in emergency situations.
Perform water rescues and administer basic first aid as needed.
Inspect the facility on a daily basis and report any unsafe conditions or faulty equipment to your manager.
Direct swimmers in and out of the pool in hazardous conditions.
Maintain a clean environment in and around the pool.
Have at least two or more years of lifeguard supervisory experience
Are able to effectively provide associate training and development
Possess nationally recognized certifications in aquatics including: CPR/AED, First Aid, CPO, AFO or equivalent (Preferred)
Possess ability to provide multisensory instruction: auditory, visual, tactile, kinesthetic
Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to deliver information clearly, concisely, and timely
Compensation: $18-20/hour
