Tennis Corporation of America in Rochester, NY seeks High Performance Training Specialist.

Responsible for (i) providing leadership for the High Performance Tennis Program that includes technical, tactical, physical and psychological training components; (ii) attending regular meetings with the High Performance Junior Director, Sports Performance Director, Tennis Director and the General Manager; (iii) organizing training schedules and reserving appropriate courts; (iv) creating and implementing curricula for the program; (v) developing strength and conditioning programs for athletes; (vi) interviewing athletes and their parents;(vii) contributing to the marketing strategy and promotional campaign; (viii) creating individualized annual tennis training programs for high performance tennis athletes; (ix) planning, organizing and delivering individual and group practices; (x) providing on court and off court coaching an average of 30 hours per week; (xi) monitoring and relating athlete's progress to athletes and their parents on a regular basis; (xii) determining competitive schedules for high performance tennis players; (xiii) representing Midtown in dealings with the United States Tennis Association, International Tennis Federation, Women's Tennis Association, Association of Tennis Professionals, NCAA, NAIA and the ITA; (xiv) preparing reports and making presentations; and (xv) abiding by all club company rules and procedures as outlined in the Employee Manual.

Must possess 5 years of experience coaching experience with professional tennis players. Must have USPTA or PTR certification and experience with (i) preparing athlete for tournament competition: periodization of all aspects of player training: physical, technical/tactical, and mental; (ii) setting workout schedules, workout groups, and criteria for advancement; (iii) planning tournament travel schedules consistent with the needs of teams, individuals training groups, and athletes and their families; and (iv) playing tennis at a division 1 college level or ATP or WTA tournament level.

5% domestic travel required for tournaments.
