About the Job:
Midtown exists to inspire people to transform their lives. As our Senior Digital Marketing Manager, you will be the end-to-end business owner of Midtown Athletic Club’s eCommerce business, leading both the site strategy and daily site maintenance. The primary focus will be implementing data-driven improvements with the goal of generating membership leads for our club’s sales team and increasing online membership sign-ups (sales).
In this role, you will work closely with the creative, digital marketing, and sales teams.
You will report to the Digital Director and sit on the digital marketing leadership team, which is part of the overall marketing organization at Midtown Athletic Club. The team has a hybrid work model, working out of the corporate office in Chicago, Illinois on Mondays, and Tuesdays. The remainder of the week can be remote or in the office, based on individual preference.
who WE are MEETS who you ARE:
We work at Midtown to inspire people to transform their lives–and we do our job well. Our members stay longer than any other major athletic club chain in North America because we are committed to providing resort-like environments, personal attention, and strong communities at every one of our clubs. We believe all three of those pillars start with attracting and growing rock star talent at every level of our organization. We're looking for people that share our core values: kind individuals who want to win together, see things as the glass half full, are passionate about helping others, and strive to always be better than yesterday.
What Success looks like:
Drive online marketing initiatives across all web platforms to increase overall website revenue, website conversion, and customer engagement on site
Actively ensure that user experience and site navigation maintain ease of use and are customer friendly in accordance with established guidelines and best practices
Oversee daily side maintenance: site stability, content changes, problem troubleshooting, escalation, and resolution
Manage all aspects of future site enhancements – a/b testing, new site/application initiatives, creative uploads, and new page builds.
Member App: Manage content on the member app launching in March 2023, and participate in future app expansion projects.
Insights: Provide online insights that may be used to increase eCommerce sales and on-site customer behavior by reporting on eCommerce KPIs
SEO: Work with the Performance Marketing Manager to implement practices to increase local SEO values (on-site web improvements, web content development, page optimization, crawlability, etc.)
Reporting: Provide weekly and monthly reporting that analyzes eCommerce KPIs and other site data to identify, size, and prioritize areas for improvement
Collaboration: Partner with creative, sales, and digital team members to ensure plans are aligned to result in the highest goal completion.
