Midtown Athletic Club est à la recherche d’un(e) Superviseur(e) des aliments et boissons motivé(e) et expérimenté(e) pour soutenir les opérations quotidiennes de notre restaurant et de notre comptoir-café. Le candidat idéal est dynamique, organisé, passionné par le service à la clientèle et sait diriger par l’exemple afin d’offrir une expérience exceptionnelle à nos membres et invités.

Responsabilités principales

  • Superviser les opérations quotidiennes du restaurant et du café avec une présence active sur le plancher

  • Diriger, motiver et soutenir une équipe de plus de 15 employés afin de maintenir un haut niveau de service

  • Assurer la constance dans la qualité, la présentation et la satisfaction de la clientèle

  • Gérer les inventaires, les commandes et le contrôle des coûts

  • Former et encadrer les employés selon les normes de service et d’hygiène

  • Effectuer les ouvertures et fermetures de service

  • Maintenir l’organisation, la propreté et l’efficacité opérationnelle pendant les heures de service

  • Communiquer efficacement avec la direction et l’équipe de cuisine

  • Gérer les systèmes de point de vente (POS) et assurer la précision des transactions

  • Participer à la planification des horaires et à la répartition des tâches quotidiennes

Exigences

  • Minimum de 2 ans d’expérience dans un poste de supervision ou de gestion en restauration

  • Solides compétences en leadership et en gestion d’équipe

  • Excellente capacité à multitâcher et déléguer efficacement

  • Axé(e) sur le service à la clientèle, rigoureux(se) et orienté(e) vers les résultats

  • Bonne connaissance des aliments, boissons et gestion des inventaires

  • Maîtrise de Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Familiarité avec différents systèmes de point de vente (POS)

  • Disponibilité flexible, incluant soirs et fins de semaine

  • Disponibilité pour travailler jusqu’à 21h30–22h00 en semaine

  • Responsable, fiable et engagé(e) envers l’excellence

Food & Beverage Supervisor – Midtown Athletic Club (Montreal)

About the Role
Midtown Athletic Club is seeking a motivated and experienced Food & Beverage Supervisor to support the daily operations of our restaurant and café counter service. The ideal candidate is dynamic, organized, and passionate about hospitality, leading by example to deliver an exceptional member and guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily operations of the restaurant and café with a strong presence on the floor

  • Lead, motivate, and support a team of 15+ employees to maintain service excellence

  • Ensure consistency in food quality, presentation, and guest satisfaction

  • Manage inventory, ordering, and cost controls

  • Train and coach team members to uphold service and hygiene standards

  • Handle opening and closing procedures

  • Maintain organization, cleanliness, and operational flow during service

  • Communicate effectively with management and kitchen teams

  • Monitor POS systems and ensure accuracy in transactions

  • Assist in scheduling and delegating daily tasks efficiently

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role in food and beverage

  • Strong leadership and team management skills

  • Excellent multitasking and delegation abilities

  • Guest-oriented, service-minded, and detail-focused

  • Knowledge of food, beverages, and inventory management

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Familiarity with different POS systems

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends

  • Availability to work until 9:30–10:00 PM on weekdays

While there can be the occasional exception, the interview process typically takes 2-3 weeks and includes the following steps.

  1. A 30 to 60-minute virtual Teams call with a member of the Talent Team to discuss Midtown, the role, and your background and experience.
  2. A 60-minute interview with the Hiring Manager, ideally in person, where you'll dive deeper into the technical side of the role.
  3. A 90-minute panel interview, and club tour, with members of the team and the applicable National Director (e.g. National Program Manager for fitness roles)

You'll receive an update on your application within 48 hours of each interview. Please note that, depending on the specifics of the role, it may take up to a week to finalize offer decisions.
