Where is Midtown’s current headquarters?

Midtown Athletic Clubs' headquarters are located at 3611 N Kedzie Ave, Chicago, IL 60618

Does Midtown offer work visa sponsorship for employment?

At this time, Midtown Athletic Clubs does not offer work visa sponsorship. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship.

What is the minimum age Midtown will hire?

Team members must be at least 16 years old to be permitted to work in some positions at of our Midtown Athletic Club locations. 

Is there open and free parking available for final in-person interviews?

Yes! We offer free parking at all eight of our athletic clubs and at our corporate office for candidates joining us for final in-person interviews.

  • Our corporate office has multiple parking lots, including covered parking for your convenience.
  • At our Chicago, IL club, there is covered parking available, and we’re happy to validate parking for you.
  • At our Montreal, QC club, parking is covered and shared with several nearby businesses — you’re welcome to use it during your visit & we will validate parking for you.

Where can I check the status of my job application?

Once you’ve submitted your job application, you’ll receive a confirmation email.

You can track the progress of your application by logging into your Workday Candidate Portal Homepage.

Under “My Applications,” you can view your application status, complete any pending tasks, or update your personal details through Account Settings.

What is the video interview platform that Midtown uses?

Midtown conducts video interviews using Microsoft Teams. If you're invited to a virtual interview, you’ll receive a calendar invitation with a Teams link. You do not need a Microsoft account to join—just click the link to access the meeting through your browser or the Microsoft Teams app.

If you’re having trouble accessing the meeting, please communicate via email with the person you are interviewing with.


What is the dress code for interviews?

For your interview, business casual attire is suitable. We want you to feel relaxed and confident while presenting your professional best.

What steps should I take if I cannot make my interview anymore?

We understand that plans can change! If you’re unable to attend your scheduled interview, please reach out to the Talent Team member or Hiring Manager who has been coordinating with you — they’ll be happy to help.

Is a background check required as part of the hiring process?

Yes, all job offers at Midtown are contingent upon the successful completion of our pre-employment screening process. This includes a background check managed by our trusted partner, Sterling Background.

The background check begins only after you’ve accepted a conditional job offer.

If you have any questions about the status or results of your background check, you can contact Sterling directly or your hiring manager.

Is there a drug test required as part of the hiring process?

No, drug screenings are not required for any positions at Midtown as a condition of employment.

Who will reach out to me to provide status updates?

If you are no longer being considered for a position you applied to, you will typically be notified by email or directly a talent team member. You can also check the status of your application anytime by logging into your Workday Candidate Portal Homepage.
