Face à l'évolution du secteur vers le modèle studio et à l'importance croissante accordée par les marques à des expériences plus personnalisées et exclusives, le/la gestionnaire de studio sera l'ambassadeur/ambassadrice de Midtown au sein de son studio, contribuant ainsi à maintenir son avance sur la concurrence.

Ce/Cette gestionnaire saura s'adapter rapidement à l'évolution du secteur et s'épanouira dans un environnement collaboratif, insufflant un style de leadership dynamique et inspirant aux programmes de fitness et à leur mise en œuvre.

Le poste

• Diriger, développer et faire progresser une équipe d'instructeurs performants, en définissant des attentes claires et en veillant à l'application rigoureuse des standards de la marque.

• Recruter activement des instructeurs de haut niveau, notamment pour les nouveaux programmes et les lancements de plusieurs studios, dans le cadre des rénovations et transformations du club.

• Garantir l'expérience studio de A à Z, en veillant à ce que tous les programmes soient exécutés selon les normes les plus élevées, avec un équipement et des performances audiovisuelles irréprochables.

• Collaborer avec la directrice de la programmation pour soutenir les lancements de nouveaux studios, y compris le recrutement des instructeurs, l'élaboration des plannings et la mise en œuvre de l'expérience.

• Améliorer la performance des instructeurs grâce à un coaching continu, des audits et des évaluations formelles, en préservant l'intégrité du programme et l'excellence du coaching.

• Accroître la participation et l'engagement des membres, en identifiant les opportunités d'augmenter la fréquentation et d'approfondir leur lien avec l'expérience studio.

• Mettre en œuvre les activations et événements de lancement de studio en partenariat avec le responsable des programmes.

• Soutenir la planification des projets et l'acquisition d'équipements pour les studios nouveaux et existants.

• Contribuer à la création des plannings studio et à leur optimisation continue.

• Superviser les opérations des studios, y compris les normes en matière d'équipement et d'audiovisuel.

• Faciliter une communication claire entre les instructeurs et la direction du club.

With the shift in our space towards the studio model and the increased emphasis on brands offering more curated, boutique like experiences, the Studio Manager will be the ambassador within their designated Studio as Midtown strives to stay ahead of the competition.

This Leader will be nimble and adaptable to the changing landscape of the industry and will thrive in a people environment, bringing an energetic and inspiring leadership style to the fitness programs and delivery by:

The Position

  • Lead, develop, and elevate a high-performing instructor team, setting clear expectations and driving consistent execution of brand standards
  • Actively recruit and source top-tier instructor talent, including for new program and multi-studio launches throughout club renovations and transformations
  • Own the studio experience end-to-end, ensuring all programming is executed at the highest standard with seamless equipment and audio-visual performance
  • Partner with the Program Manager to support new studio launches, including instructor hiring, schedule development, and experience execution
  • Drive instructor performance through ongoing coaching, audits, and formal evaluations, maintaining program integrity and coaching excellence
  • Increase member participation and engagement, identifying opportunities to grow attendance and deepen connection to the studio experience
  • Execute studio launch activations and events in partnership with the Program Manager
  • Support project planning and equipment procurement for new and existing studio spaces
  • Contribute to studio schedule creation and ongoing optimization across spaces
  • Oversee studio operations, including equipment and AV standards
  • Facilitate clear communication between instructors and club leadership
  • Track and report studio participation metrics
  • Stay current with boutique fitness trends and competitive landscape
  • Ensure alignment with Midtown’s in-club boutique strategy and brand standards

What you can expect after submitting your application

Within two weeks, someone from our Talent Team will review your application. If your experience doesn't align with the needs of the role at this time, we will let you know. If we'd like to move you to the next step of the process, we'll reach out to schedule the first interview.

While there can be the occasional exception, the interview process typically takes 2-3 weeks and includes the following steps.

  1. A 30 to 60-minute virtual Teams call with a member of the Talent Team to discuss Midtown, the role, and your background and experience.
  2. A 60-minute interview with the Hiring Manager, ideally in person, where you'll dive deeper into the technical side of the role.
  3. A 90-minute panel interview, and club tour, with members of the team and the applicable National Director (e.g. National Program Manager for fitness roles)

You'll receive an update on your application within 48 hours of each interview. Please note that, depending on the specifics of the role, it may take up to a week to finalize offer decisions.
