  • Greet members and guests in a friendly and professional manner
  • Hand out towels and ensure return
  • Monitor the pool, lawn area and tennis area to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for guests
  • Act as a customer service representative for the club, answering member questions and responding to any concerns
  • Work with servers and housekeeping to ensure the pool area is clean, clutter-free, and well-maintained at all times
  • Assist Lifeguards when emergency action plan is activated (Call 911 if necessary)
  • Manage Pool, Lawn & Tennis Deck lost & found
  • Enforce Pool, Lawn & Tennis Deck Etiquette and Youth Area Code
  • Ensure courts are swept and tidy.
  • Stock towels and keep tennis viewing areas neat and clean.
  • Maintain swept and clean walkways throughout the tennis area.
  • Manage light maintenance on the courts and surrounding areas (landscaping, removal of bad material, windscreen repairs, etc.).
  • Communicate with hospitality desk on court conditions.
  • Recover court time by preparing courts following inclement weather.
  • Greet players arriving for programming and help coaches prepare and maintain equipment.
  • Report any maintenance or safety issues to the Aquatics Manager
  • Other duties as assigned by the Aquatics Manger
  • Pay rate is minimum wage, $16.00.

REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent customer service behavior
  • Ability to work effectively with parents and children
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Positive, upbeat, glass-half-full attitude
  • Passionate about helping others
  • Team player
  • Must be able to work weekends and holidays
  • Lifeguard certification preferred but not required
