Midtown est à la recherche d’un(e) sauveteur(se) pour surveiller nos piscines et assurer la sécurité de nos espaces aquatiques.
Le poste
En tant que membre essentiel de l’équipe aquatique, nos sauveteurs inspirent les membres par le mouvement, le sens de la communauté et une attention personnalisée. Ils encouragent des modes de vie actifs, sociaux et plus sains en :
Expliquant et appliquant les règles, règlements et politiques afin d’assurer la sécurité des usagers
Maintenant l’ordre dans les zones de baignade
Répondant aux situations d’urgence et en portant secours aux nageurs en danger de noyade
Assurant la propreté des espaces aquatiques afin de garantir une expérience agréable
Faisant respecter les règles de la piscine pour maintenir un environnement sécuritaire et propre
Exigences du poste de sauveteur(se) :
Orientation marquée vers le service à la clientèle et excellentes compétences interpersonnelles
Excellentes aptitudes en natation, avec formation et certification en sauvetage aquatique
Détention de certifications aquatiques reconnues à l’échelle nationale, incluant :
Premiers soins standard (16 heures)
Société de sauvetage du Québec (obligatoire)
Capacité à offrir un enseignement multisensoriel : auditif, visuel, tactile et kinesthésique

Midtown is looking for a Lifeguard to watch over our pools and ensure the safety of our aquatics areas.
The Position
As an integral part of the aquatics team, our Lifeguards inspire members through movement, community, and personal attention. They encourage active, social, and healthier lives by:
Explaining and enforcing rules, regulations, and policies to ensure safety of patrons
Maintaining order in swimming areas
Responding to emergencies and rescuing swimmers in danger of drowning
Maintaining cleanliness of aquatics areas to promote an enjoyable experience
Enforcing the pool rules to ensure a safe and clean environment
Lifeguard requirements:
Customer service oriented, with great interpersonal skills
Are strong swimmers trained and certified in water rescue
Possess nationally recognized certifications in aquatics including: Standard First Aid (16hrs)
Lifesaving Society of Quebec, mandatory
Possess ability to provide multisensory instruction: auditory, visual, tactile, kinesthetic
